Maka is a noun in Kimbundu, one of the indigenous languages of Angola, referring to a delicate, complex or serious problem.
Anti-Corruption Initiative
Maka Angola is dedicated to the struggle against corruption in Angola and against the promiscuity between the public duties and the private interests of the government’s top officials. Maka Angola denounces abuses of power and it’s a voice against socio-economic exclusion and the violation of human rights in Angola.
Angola is endowed with immeasurable natural wealth and has seen impressive economic growth over the past four years. Yet, for the majority of the Angolan population, the way in which these resources, as well as state assets more generally, have been managed has meant that the benefits have been overshadowed by increasing social, political and economic injustice. This is what maka is.
Maka Angola is a response to the public’s silence, whether motivated by fear or by complicity, in the face of the looting and destruction brought about by the actions of the current leadership and by the venal behaviour of the public administration.
Take Action!
No Angolan should feel ashamed or afraid to do what is right or to defend a just cause for the common good of the Angolan society. It’s crucial that the Angolan people get involved in the active scrutiny of the government’s actions, making sure that it serves the public interest and not the interest of a small group of individuals headed by the President of the Republic.
Maka Angola collects and investigates complaints by Angolan citizens regarding acts of corruption and abuse of power. We count on you in the anti-corruption struggle in Angola.
Maka is yours. Take action!

Atenção!, A Revolução come ate os proprios autores da revolução é so analisarmos a Revolução Francesa.
O Povo deve usar a inteligencia e a sabedoria para tirar os maus governantes do poder.
